A Wedding at Château d'Argeronne in Normandy

Real Weddings

Dear couples-to-be, before I tell you about this wonderful wedding at Château d’Argeronne in Normandy, let me briefly introduce what I do.

A Wedding in Normandy

As a professional photographer, I understand how unique and memorable your wedding in Normandy will be. I am Tristan Perrier, a Fine Art wedding photographer based in Bordeaux. First of all, I am always happy to travel to your beautiful region to capture the most precious moments of your marriage, as I have already done at Château d’Argeronne. For your wedding, let me put my experience at your service.

The magic of captured moments

As a passionate artist, I am committed to capturing every precious moment of your wedding: from the preparations to the symbolic ceremony, the drinks reception and the reception hall, the couple and group photos, the evening and its speeches, and of course the wedding cake and the first dance. Thanks to my Fine Art approach, I capture the emotions and the spontaneous moments shared between you, the bride and groom, and your guests, with a romantic touch. Couple sessions and black and white photos bring a timeless feel to your wedding story.

A visual heritage to share

On the day, I am by your side at every moment to capture your wedding ceremony and the celebrations that follow, highlighting the details and the fleeting moments that make up the story of this unique day. My job is to give you a unique and elegant photographic work, so that you can relive your wedding through beautiful photographs and share those priceless memories with your loved ones for years to come.

If you choose to marry in Normandy and trust me with photographing your big day, I will give you unforgettable memories, captured with care and sensitivity.

A meeting of Fine Art photography enthusiasts

For the first time in my life, I had the chance to cover a wedding in Normandy, at Château d’Argeronne, to photograph Olivia and Olivier’s wedding. Something else was new for me too: it was not the couple who found me, but Olivier’s father, a keen photography enthusiast.

Olivier’s father was looking for a Fine Art photographer and artist, and he found me on the international website Fearless Photographers.

He was determined that I should be his son’s wedding photographer, and it was a real pleasure to meet this wonderful family.

After many long months preparing the photo coverage with the couple, who stayed in close touch with me despite their busy professional lives, there I was in June 2019, on the roads of France, on my way to meet Olivia and Olivier and this beautiful region of Normandy!

Château d’Argeronne | A Wedding Venue in Normandy

After the religious ceremony, celebrated by the family’s priest in the superb church of Pont-de-l’Arche, we headed to the majestic Château d’Argeronne for the wedding reception with 250 guests. The drinks reception was set up in the château’s splendid gardens, and the dinner and dancing that followed took place in the wedding hall, which is none other than a fully glazed orangery with an exceptional view over the park of the Argeronne estate.

Wedding photographer in Normandy

This trip to Normandy was unique for me. I discovered a green region with magnificent landscapes, full of charm and character shaped by its historic and medieval past.

I felt very much at home there, and the groom’s father and the couple gave me a warm welcome. What a joy it was to finally meet them after all those months working on the coverage!

Three months after the wedding, Olivier’s father got in touch with me again to tell me that I would be the photographer at the wedding of Olivier’s sister, Marie-Emilie, in September 2020! All the suppliers from this wedding would be there for that date too, because we had won everyone over!

I also had the honour of getting to know Roberto, their videographer, who is of American and Honduran origin, professionally, artistically and personally. Together, we worked to bring together the very best images of Olivia and Olivier’s wedding.

Olivier’s father was delighted with the photos, as were the newlyweds, and he ordered five wedding albums from me, including one measuring 45 cm by 35 cm, almost a metre wide when open.

Professionalism and responsiveness

We are absolutely delighted with Tristan Perrier’s work. We were won over by his professionalism and responsiveness from our very first exchanges.
Tristan is passionate and committed, and he puts his heart into his work, which shows in his photos. He makes a point of getting to know us and following our preparations, so as to understand our personality and our expectations as well as possible and to build a real closeness for the big day. The photos are absolutely beautiful while remaining natural and spontaneous. We had a lot of positive feedback from our guests.
