A Colourful Civil Wedding at Bordeaux City Hall

Real Weddings

For their wedding at Bordeaux City Hall, Tiffa and Géo lit up the Palais Rohan. As their wedding photographer at Bordeaux City Hall, let me take you through the story of their day.

A Bordeaux Wedding Full of Joy and Sharing

Tiffa and Géo wanted to live and celebrate their civil wedding at Bordeaux City Hall as a real party.

Although their wedding plans had to be postponed, Tiffa and Géo were determined to keep their civil ceremony.

Back in February, we had already done their engagement session in the forest of Canéjan. True to their wishes, those pre-wedding couple photos capture all the originality and authenticity of this sparkling couple.

It was a very small gathering, but the newlyweds were well surrounded and thoroughly enjoyed their civil wedding day in Bordeaux. Cancelling everything was out of the question! That day, the wedding hall of Bordeaux City Hall welcomed the couple and their loved ones.

What made the day so wonderful was, first of all, the couple themselves, and then their state of mind. Lovers of colour, parties and good humour, Tiffa and Géo shone and brought sunshine to the Palais Rohan that day. Their guests had all played along, arriving on the forecourt of the City Hall in colourful outfits. Suits, formal dresses, the bouquet, the bride’s hairstyle and even the colourful masks added a real burst of energy to this very special day.

A pop, colourful drinks reception at the family home

After the ceremony and a few photos on the steps and at the entrance of Bordeaux City Hall, we headed to Géo’s family home.

The drinks reception was waiting for us there, still in a joyful theme with bright, pop colours and a bride radiant with happiness!

At the groom’s family home, some of their loved ones gave heartfelt speeches that touched everyone. Laughter and shining eyes brightened Tiffa and Géo’s wedding day.

The wait to finally get married had been a long one, but they never gave up! I sincerely hope they will be able to celebrate their wedding as planned in early November.

Are you thinking of getting married at Bordeaux City Hall? As a wedding photographer, I can cover your civil wedding, however small. Why choose me for your wedding photos? What sets me apart is my Fine Art photography style: a rare and distinctive artistic signature in which I feel completely at home.

Fine Art photography was developed by American photographers before making its way, tentatively, to Europe and France. Everything Fine Art stands for reflects my personality and my sensibility, as a man and as a photographer.
