A Luxury Wedding in Corrèze

My couple wanted to marry in Corrèze, and they chose me to share the most beautiful day of their lives. It was a real honour to be recommended by the owners of Château de Castel Novel, and I was delighted to travel to such an exceptional, elegant venue.

So I joined the bride and groom and their families in Corrèze. They gave me a very warm welcome when I arrived, and I immediately felt at ease and ready to get to work.

The religious ceremony then took place in the abbey church of Saint-Sour in Terrasson-Lavilledieu, on the heights of the beautiful town of Terrasson. I made the most of the height and the panorama to take the group photo on the steps leading up to the church, lined with its formal French gardens. The wedding then carried on at the château, in a setting of elegance and refinement.

Once we arrived at Château de Castel Novel, we left the guests chatting over the drinks reception and took a few couple photos. The château’s magnificent wooded park and its outdoor terrace, with the couple’s wedding Rolls-Royce as a backdrop, painted a picture worthy of a royal wedding.

The bride wore a gown by the designer Milla Nova, fitted at the waist, with a bodice of lace and delicate tulle that highlighted her femininity.

Château de Castel Novel stands near Brive-la-Gaillarde, in Corrèze. Built on a hillock in the 13th and 15th centuries, this vast property is set in 10 hectares of wooded parkland.

For weddings, the services offered by the château’s owners are described as luxury, as the estate is a four-star hotel.

They include hire of the reception room, table settings with porcelain and silverware, and impeccable, careful and attentive service.
