David and Pierre's Gay Wedding at Villa La Tosca, Arcachon Bay
I want to talk about the gay weddings, between two men and between two women, that I have had the chance to photograph, because I believe that love has no gender.
As a wedding photographer, I am deeply moved by love in all its forms, and even more so when it comes to emotions as pure and sincere as those between two people in love like David and Pierre.

Gay marriage
A gay wedding is a celebration of love between two people, whatever their gender. As a wedding photographer, I care about the diversity of couples, and I believe everyone has the right to their civil wedding, surrounded by family and friends. Same-sex wedding ceremonies are often full of emotion and happiness, and I make sure I am there to capture those precious moments.
Couples can count on my professionalism and discretion to capture the highlights of their wedding. Working alongside their wedding planner, I make sure to create beautiful photos that reflect the essence of their love and their commitment to each other.

David and Pierre, a Cosmopolitan Couple
David is of Spanish origin, speaks five languages fluently and works at the European Parliament in Brussels. Pierre is a Bordeaux native through and through and speaks three languages, which is essential in his line of work, as he works for a luxury leather goods brand.
David and Pierre met through a friend in Spain, and it was love at first sight! A real bond quickly grew between them, and they decided to give love and a future together a chance, despite the distance that separated them at the time: David was already living in Brussels and Pierre was living in Spain. It was Pierre who decided to join David in Brussels to build their life as a couple.
A Civil Ceremony at Bordeaux City Hall
It was at Bordeaux City Hall, on Friday 7 June 2019, that David and Pierre made their union official, surrounded by their family and close friends.
After the civil ceremony, the grooms and I went off to take a few couple photos in some of Bordeaux’s most iconic spots.
The next morning we were raring to go for another day of celebration and ceremony! Two days in a row made for a very intense weekend. That said, I got on wonderfully with David and Pierre, and they welcomed me as if I were one of their own.
A Humanist Ceremony at Villa La Tosca
The next day, Saturday 8 June, I photographed their wedding day from 11 in the morning until 2 in the morning on Sunday. It did not feel that long at all: I already liked David and Pierre a great deal, and it was a real pleasure to be with them until the very end of the celebrations, alongside their family and friends, who were all wonderfully warm and friendly.
When I arrived at Villa La Tosca that morning, the atmosphere was already fantastic and very relaxed! The venue is a lovely place that invites you to unwind.
The guests were all at ease on that sunny morning, enjoying the pool and the private terrace of Villa La Tosca. With David and Pierre, we took a few photos in their bathroom, just for fun, before they got ready for the ceremony.
The rest of the day was full of emotion. You could feel an incredible energy between the grooms, made of respect and true love. It was beautiful, and very moving, to witness.
The humanist ceremony was led in three languages (French, English and Spanish) by Blanca, the celebrant the grooms had chosen, as their guests had come from all four corners of the world.
A wonderful photographer: professional, approachable, warm
Tristan was a key player in making our wedding a dream. He captured the beauty of every moment and gave us unexpected, magnificent memories that we will keep forever.
Even though we had only talked on Skype (several times), I felt as if I were meeting a friend when we joined him in front of the town hall. He followed us throughout the weekend as a friendly, willing presence, putting us at ease at all times and guiding us so that we could give the very best of ourselves. The best photographer I know, with an excellent luxury service and deliverables.

Living a Great Love Story
During the wedding dinner at Villa La Tosca, David gave a deeply felt speech in three languages about the meaning of love, as he experienced it, and it truly came from the heart. He himself, his family, his friends and of course Pierre were all very moved.
They are both sensitive and intelligent, and they love to laugh, travel, have fun and discover new things. They like to take care of themselves, they are always impeccably stylish, and they love to be pampered!
David and Pierre are completely at ease showing their love. They radiate Love with a capital L, and so much complicity and tenderness shines through them.
A thousand thanks to them for trusting me. And if you too would like to trust me with your wedding, same-sex or not, I would love to hear from you.
