Wedding Photographer in Arcachon

The fine art style of a wedding photographer in Arcachon

I am Tristan Perrier, and I love being with couples as their wedding photographer in Arcachon. I enjoy capturing the most precious moments of your life. My fine art approach lets me bring out the best in every moment I photograph, giving my pictures a touch of elegance and refinement.

As a wedding photographer on Arcachon Bay, I pay great attention to the beauty of details, to light and to colour. It matters to me to create images full of emotion and poetry. The fine art style draws on my artistic sense and creativity, so that I can make unique pictures that reflect your personality and the atmosphere of your wedding.

The idyllic setting of Arcachon is a perfect natural backdrop for weddings and engagement photoshoots. Fine sandy beaches, pine forests and the area’s charming villas add a touch of romance to every image and make every moment unforgettable.

The engagement session, a foretaste of the big day

I also offer my couples an engagement photoshoot. It is a chance to get used to my photographic style and my presence, and also to share a special moment together before the big day. An engagement session lets you discover yourselves from a new angle. It strengthens the bond between us while creating precious memories.

An engagement photoshoot before the wedding has many advantages. It helps you picture how the day will unfold, and you will feel more at ease in front of my lens on your wedding day.

As a wedding photographer in Arcachon, I make a point of creating images that tell your love story with elegance and refinement. Every wedding is unique, whether it takes place in Andernos-les-Bains, Le Moulleau, Lège-Cap-Ferret or Cap-Ferret itself, and my fine art style lets me bring out that uniqueness. With my experience and artistic sensitivity, I can be with you throughout this adventure and give you priceless memories.

An Engagement Session on Arcachon Bay at the First Hint of Spring

Claire and Mohamed embody a radiant youth, full of cheerfulness, freshness and naturalness, with a slight shyness in front of my camera: a charm that won me over immediately. I had the honour of being chosen to photograph their wedding the following June, and the future newlyweds enthusiastically agreed to an engagement session in March 2020, on a Friday the 13th, which is quite a date!

Free of any superstition, they made the most of the glorious conditions that memorable day offered, and I am convinced that the good mood and romance of this photoshoot will bring them luck.

Relive with me the engagement photoshoot of these two lovebirds, captured in an enchanting natural setting on the shores of Arcachon Bay. My photographs capture the very essence of their love, in beautiful couple photos that will stay with them for ever.

Engagement Photographer on Arcachon Bay | Tristan Perrier Fine Art

As an engagement photographer on Arcachon Bay, I see how its landscapes change from one place to another. This natural jewel, with its many kinds of light and its changing surroundings, is full of places each as beautiful as the last. We began Claire and Mohamed’s engagement photoshoot at the Réservoirs de Piraillan, then made our way to the jetty in the village of Le Canon and to the famous fishermen’s huts on stilts, the "cabanes tchanquées".

These magical settings that nature gives us were the perfect opportunity for my fine art photographs, playing with the light, the lush vegetation, the framing and, of course, the genuine emotions of my subjects.

Being a professional photographer for an engagement photoshoot means knowing how to show the couple, the future newlyweds, at their best in natural light, and not just by asking them to strike poses.

What I love about my work, especially since I became a fine art photographer, is being able to give my pictures the very essence of emotion: that moment when happiness bursts out like fireworks of feeling. It is this pure, natural emotion that I loved finding in Claire and Mohamed during their engagement photoshoot.

It is worth noting, for keen lovers of film photography, that I have the right professional equipment to capture weddings and engagement sessions on film, while keeping the distinctive Fine Art touch that defines my work. It is available as an option, on request. If you are interested, we can talk it through and plan your future photo session together.

Engagement Session for a Cap-Ferret Wedding

In the south-west, in Gironde, and especially close to the ocean, the weather can be either temperamental or mild. That Friday 13 March brought us luck, with ideal weather for our photographs on Cap-Ferret! The advantage of living on the coast is that our winters are not too harsh, so it is possible to plan engagement sessions like this one without too much difficulty.

An engagement photoshoot is simply a couple photoshoot before the wedding, nothing more, nothing less. The future newlyweds want photographs of just the two of them, to capture their relationship before the big day, to share some with their families, or to use for their wedding invitations. Engagement photography is close to lifestyle photography, because once again it is all about sharing true, spontaneous emotions.

It is with deep gratitude that I thank Claire and Mohamed for their trust and for their beautiful souls. I am truly grateful to them for giving me the opportunity to make photographs that bear witness to their sincere love: capturing the very essence of their relationship and translating it into images was a real joy. A huge thank you also to Marie-France of Artmania Fleur for the bouquet she designed especially for the engagement session.

We will meet again on 20 June, to be with the future newlyweds as they celebrate their happiness. I am looking forward to their wedding day, to continue this photographic story.

Update: the lockdown pushed back their plans. Claire and Mohamed had their civil wedding at Domaine du Grand Darnal, in Bruges, in April 2021, then celebrated their wedding at Château Courtade-Dubuc in October 2021.
