Family Photoshoot in Bordeaux
Camille and Julie are a couple I am truly fond of, as we have known each other for four years. I have had the honour of following their journey ever since they chose me as their family photographer.
First came an engagement session, then the photos of their wedding in Charente-Maritime in 2017. Three years later, Julie and Camille asked me to take the newborn photos of their twins.
The parents did not want their children’s names to be shared in this article, and of course I am respecting their wishes.
Over the years, I have kept a sincere, caring and lasting bond with them, and the friendship they show me means a great deal to me.
After two years of waiting, Julie gave birth to two little wonders: a boy and a girl. They were so very wanted by their parents!
I photographed this lovely newborn session in two parts. The first part took place at their home, in the comfort of their own surroundings. Then we went to the Parc de Majolan in Blanquefort for a stroll, just the two loving parents and their babies.

The Parc de Majolan is in Gironde, near Bordeaux, in the town of Blanquefort. You may remember that I had already been there with Élodie and Mathieu for their couple photoshoot.

Laid out in the 19th century around a large lake, the park is also home to grottoes that are open to the public.
Majolan has a wide variety of trees, which makes it a very pleasant place for summer walks with young children and newborns.
In autumn, the trees take on orange hues and the light is soft, ideal for Fine Art photos.
The park is also a great setting for outdoor photoshoots, as its backgrounds are open and full of natural texture.

As a newborn photographer in Bordeaux, I like going to the Parc de Majolan for family photos with very young children, because the air there is fresher than in the centre of Bordeaux. Babies are less bothered by the heat, and parents feel more relaxed during their newborn photoshoot.
